Dave Whalen is a writer and producer at McCarthy Hennings Whalen, Inc.
Dave helped develop and produce the ad campaign for Arizona Governor Doug Ducey in 2014. Whalen was also a lead producer for American Crossroads for three states (AK, AR, IA) where Republican candidates won, and produced ads for Commonwealth Future, a super PAC supporting Charlie Baker in Massachusetts.
In 2012, Whalen produced ads for the Romney super PAC, Restore Our Future, and was a lead producer for American Crossroads, and Tom Latham for Congress (IA).
In 2010, Whalen produced ads for Senator Mark Kirk (IL), helping the Republican capture Barack Obama’s former Senate seat.
Also in 2010, Whalen wrote and produced ads in dozens of House districts across the country, promoting conservative candidates and ideas and helping Republicans win back the House of Representatives.
In 2008, Whalen worked on all aspects of Senator Mitch McConnell’s media campaign, helping the Republican Leader overcome a barrage of spending from liberal outside interest groups.
In 2005 and 2006, Whalen worked on media campaigns supporting the confirmation of Supreme Court Justices John Roberts and Samuel Alito.
In recent election cycles, Whalen has also worked on winning statewide campaigns in Arizona, New Hampshire and Maine.
Whalen is a graduate of Wake Forest University.
